The RBH Digital story
Before RBH Digital, there were 22 years in transport and logistics, handmade jewellery, wedding fairs, a first website built through YouTube tutorials—and one very unexpected pivot.
This isn’t a polished overnight-success story. It’s a story of learning, adapting and getting things done.
The early daysLong before RBH Digital
I’m Rachael Hover. My career began as a transport clerk in my hometown of Nuneaton, Warwickshire, before progressing through transport management, data analysis and team leadership for a national transport company.
Across more than two decades in transport and logistics, I learned how teams, processes, systems and data connect—and what happens when they don’t.
When I knew I was ready for a change, I was put forward to train as a project manager. I embraced it fully, worked hard and gained my PRINCE2 qualification in Project Management.
Those years gave me the operational thinking that still shapes how RBH Digital works today. I don’t look at marketing in isolation; I look at the whole business.

My entrepreneurial spirit had been calling for years. In late 2014, I finally listened and started a side business creating handmade jewellery and unique gifts.
With no website, I began selling through social media, Etsy, eBay and local fairs. As the business gained recognition, I decided it was time to build my first website. I scoured YouTube for tutorials and taught myself web design from scratch.
The business became a real success—but something else happened too. I discovered how much I loved the work behind the business: the websites, visibility, messaging and marketing.

From local fairs to bigger venues, styled shoots, bridal fashion shows and a Wedding Industry Award nomination.
In 2016, I launched an event-planning business specialising in the wedding industry. I collaborated with venues across the region to organise wedding fairs and shows, and the business grew quickly enough to earn a feature in the local press.
By 2018, our shows were gaining traction, we were securing larger venues and we had been nominated for a Wedding Industry Award. I collaborated with brilliant wedding-business owners, took part in styled shoots and even modelled in bridal fashion shows to get our names out there.
The jewellery and events businesses revealed what would become my real calling: helping businesses become visible and grow.

CHAPTER 04 · THE 2020 PIVOT
COVID-19 brought the wedding and events industry to a standstill. I created a direct-to-door gifting business for people sending something special to loved ones in isolation—and alongside fellow wedding-business owner Gemma, began teaching other business owners how to use marketing to navigate an impossible time.
My first online Facebook Ads masterclass welcomed 34 business owners.
We added one-to-one support and a membership. From that work, RH Consultancy was born.
To formalise my experience, I qualified as a CDMP Digital Marketing Consultant and Meta Digital Marketing Associate. RHC evolved from supporting independent businesses into working with growing and corporate clients on marketing strategy, paid advertising and digital growth.
In 2022, I welcomed my first team member—a marketing assistant with expertise in branding and graphic design. In early 2023, an admin assistant joined us to keep everything running smoothly (and to keep me in check).
That growth eventually led to the next chapter: RBH Digital Ltd.

RBH Digital today
Today, RBH Digital has grown into a modern business-growth consultancy with a trusted team supporting more clients across websites, SEO, paid advertising, content, systems, automation and strategic implementation.
We also work behind the scenes as a discreet white-label partner for agencies, consultants and service providers that need reliable extra expertise without expanding their internal team.
I continue to invest in the skills and partnerships that help our clients move forward with confidence.
